Gaming leads to violence?

Here's evidence that suggests as society plays more violent video games, less people get harmed everyday.

Everyone, please... go play some games and stop crime!

Every geek wants a name like this!

I am ROFL-ing non-stop right now.
When you are named, Batman son of Superman... You and your dad are gonna form a team called World's Finest. And who knows? Your mom might be Wonder Woman and your uncle is Green Arrow, and your uncle's wife... Black Canary!

Joining the army in a year, save the world in 3!

Microsoft > Yahoo!

Everyone should know it by now,
Microsoft is punching Yahoo into giving in.
I would call it threatening and bullying.

If Yahoo! does not accept Microsoft's offer of US$44billion dollar bid, Microsoft will look to buy over the share holders and they will drop the bid.

What will Yahoo! do? They have 3 weeks to decide.

Looks like when Microsoft wants a piece of a pie, they really do want it.

Help with survey for Technological Innovations project

I need help for people to fill in a survey regarding their experience as WoW players.

Through this project, my group is trying to find out how Blizzard Entertainment innovated from previous MMORPGs to come up with a dominant design, the award winning and subscriptions record breaking MMORPG, World of Warcraft.

Please click this LINK and complete a short 10 questions, 90% multiple choice questions survey! Takes at most 1 minute of your time.

For those who can't click on the link and I have no idea why you can't, copy and paste the following into your browser : http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=nDoxS3ZKfOLWN8VoKhQ_2fNw_3d_3d

Goodbye WoW...

Yes. I have finally made the decision to quit WoW.

It has been almost a year now.
It has been fun tanking but Panzar'thar Breatplate would never drop for me.
It has been fun dps-ing but a warrior will always find it hard to find a place to dps.
It has been fun in KoL but too much WoW is getting tiring.
It has been fun playing late nights but real life truly forbids such life style.
It has been great times playing with all the friends I made in KoL.

Goodbye Zamea... like I fared Zreck goodbye once, I will now rest you for good.

Time to finish off my projects, study for my exams and spend time with my family!

Happy April's Fool!
Alright... I'm gonna study more, but I won't quit larh. Exams coming... going back to mug!

First Foray into Black Temple

Keepers of Light made their way into the Black Temple for the first time last night.

It is undoubtedly a great week of raiding as we downed 4 new bosses and many of us are now enlightened about how difficult Kael'thas Sunstrider is.

First kill of the night,
Second Kill wasn't that clean, but a great effort still,

Got Choker of Endless Nightmares off of the HUGE guy. Great neck.
Great week KoL.

The future is near.

Just have to share this with ya all.
The future is nearer than we think.

Holograph

Here's a video of a holographic display. Think Star Wars R2D2?
ViZoo has brought it to us.

Immersive gaming and video experience anyone?
We could be watching a show and actually feel like we're a part of the environment with everything happening around us.

Multi-touch

And what about Minority Report? All the manipulating of images using multi-touch interfaces on a screen? You thought that was the future?

At Perceptive Pixel, they've brought the future to us. The way we interact with objects, images, videos and all other stuff, it is the next step in human-pc interaction interface. Check out the link to watch a video, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Here's a Youtube version for all you lazy balonies, but seriously, head over to the main site to take a look at the high quality version.

And here's how Microsoft has used the technology, and in-built it into something called Microsoft Surface. Now, it's pretty damn cool and my first thought was, when's an Apple version coming out?

To prove that all these are not too far in the future, here's proof that CNN has already begun using the interface in the Super Tuesday coverage.

Would love to get my hands on those, but they cost a bomb at the moment, going up to over USD 10,000.

Like all other gadgets, being the first adopter is a losing position.
Patience is key.
